Disability Assessor

In this role, you'll analyse and interpret clinical information and medical evidence to produce a high-quality assessment report on a claimant’s case.

Our disability assessors deliver face-to-face, telephone and video consultations or conduct initial reviews to establish the route a case should take and complete paper-based reviews which may include gathering information from claimants and medical professionals involved in their care.

Some disability assessors are primarily based from home and depending on location, also work from our assessment centres for six to eight days per month to deliver face-to-face consultations. You’ll spend additional time in our centres or office locations to catch up with your manager and wider team or attend in-person training sessions.
